I’m Aliya Griffin, founder of The Spiritual Girlie. My work centers on psychic and intuitive guidance, mediumship, past life regression, spiritual awakening, and intuitive development.
The Spiritual Girlie grew from my own journey of learning to understand and trust experiences I had spent years trying to quiet. Today, I create space for others to explore their own spiritual experiences and intuitive awareness without asking them to give their authority away in the process.
I’m the messenger, not the message. Authority lives in the receiver.
My Journey
There was never an “ah ha” or defining moment where I’d realized that I was different. I’ve always known who I am and what I was. But in trying to fit in with society and expectations thrust upon me, I numbed myself and my gifts for a very long time. But, the funny thing about life and this journey, is that there’s no stopping what’s supposed to be, no matter how firm we think we have our heels dug into the ground.
“We can do this the hard way or the easy way.”
And believe me, that hard way, was HARD.
So, after reaching my breaking point, I’d decided to do something different, and take the easy route (meaning, let be…be).
Like most psychics, I came to a point in my life where the protective dome I’d built around myself was crumbling because it could no longer keep my gifts contained (growth stops for no one, no matter how much you try to ignore it). Through intensive training I learned that it’s okay to be weird and different (because who wants to be a cookie cutter version of themself anyway? Not me!). I learned patience. I learned to let go and surrender. I learned discernment. I learned that it’s okay to be wrong and the world won’t stop because of it. I learned confidence. I learned how to have fun. I learned that there’s magic all around me. I learned to trust who I am and what I’m experiencing. And most importantly, I learned (remembered) who I am and what I am.
Over time, I learned to recognize the different ways intuition communicates through me. My abilities include clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, claircognizance, precognition, mediumship, and channeling. My work has also expanded into past life regression and helping others understand their own intuitive experiences.
Those abilities are part of what I do, but they aren’t what I believe gives me authority over another person’s life. If anything, my experiences have taught me the opposite. Guidance can offer another perspective, but the person receiving it remains the authority over what it means for them and what they choose to do with it.
My Core Spiritual Values:
1. Connection – with Source, self, spirit guides, and soul community.
2. Faith – a trust in the unseen, divine timing, and higher purpose.
3. Love – not just romantic or conditional love, but the kind that heals, holds, and awakens.
4. Freedom of Spirit – rejecting dogma, ego, and rigid structures.
5. Curiosity & Exploration – creating space to question, explore, and discover who you are beyond what you’ve been told.
6. Compassionate Awakening – I’m not here to shock people into awareness, but to gently walk beside them as they remember.
How I Approach this work
Curiosity Before Certainty
I don’t believe every spiritual experience has to be immediately defined or explained. Sometimes understanding begins by allowing ourselves to notice what we’re experiencing without forcing it into a particular belief system.
Discernment Alongside Intuition
Intuition doesn’t require abandoning discernment. My work encourages people to explore what they receive, question what doesn’t resonate, and develop a relationship with their own way of knowing.
Guidance Without Gatekeeping
I don’t believe spiritual knowledge belongs to a select few or that someone needs a guru in order to understand themselves. I can share what I perceive and what I’ve learned, but I don’t determine another person’s truth.
Spirituality That Can Live in Real Life
Spiritual awareness shouldn’t require leaving your humanity behind. My work is about allowing intuition, spiritual exploration, relationships, work, creativity, uncertainty, and ordinary life to exist together.
My Work
Today, my work through The Spiritual Girlie includes intuitive psychic readings, mediumship, certified past life regression, spiritual guidance, intuitive development, courses, and writing.
I’m also the author of The Sacred Messenger, Leaning Into Me and other works exploring spirituality, intuitive awareness, and personal transformation. My teaching extends into programs including The Threshold, created to support people moving from spiritual awakening toward a more grounded relationship with intuitive awareness, and The Clear Channel Method, developed for practicing intuitives who want greater clarity and discernment in how they receive.
Across all of my work, the intention remains the same: to create space for exploration while helping people remain connected to their own authority.
A little More about me
Spirituality is part of my life, but it isn’t the entirety of who I am. I’m a woman, a mother, a writer, a teacher, and someone who is still living, learning, questioning, creating, and becoming.
I don’t believe being spiritually gifted requires perfection. I don’t believe teachers have to pretend to have every answer. And I don’t believe any of us ever reach a point where there is nothing left to discover about ourselves.
We are not here to be perfect. We are here to be real.
